Domain value estimator: score up to 20 names at once

A domain value estimator gives a quick, repeatable view of what a name is likely worth. Paste up to 20 names below and the Domaining estimator returns a value score from 0 to 100, an estimated domain value band and the drivers behind each score. It runs once without an account, on the same formula as the full appraisal.

Estimate the value of your domain names

Paste one name per line, up to 20 names. Each name is scored in your browser with the published scoring method, and nothing you paste is stored.

Name Value score Value band (estimate)

The value band is an estimate, not a price offer or a sale record. Real prices depend on whether a buyer needs that exact name.

Value bands are estimates from the published scoring method, not offers.

Keep scoring every name you buy, hold or list

The estimator runs once. With an account every name in the expiring list carries the same score, and your plan includes 100, 1,000 or 10,000 appraisals per month.

How is the estimated domain value calculated?

The estimator applies the same drivers as the full domain appraisal: length, dictionary words, extension, commercial category, brandability, hyphens and digits, and pronounceability. Each driver raises or lowers the score, and the score maps to a value band. Because the formula is fixed, the same name always gets the same result, so you can compare names fairly.

Result columnWhat it tells you
Value scoreA 0-100 rank of the name against the drivers
Value bandAn estimated range in USD, labelled estimate
Top driversThe qualities that moved the score the most, up or down

What does a domain worth estimator not know?

A domain worth estimator reads the name, not the market around it. It does not know whether a company is looking for that exact name today, whether the name has traffic, or whether it matches a trademark. Use the band as a first filter, then check the name yourself before you buy, renew or set a price.

  • It does not know which buyer needs the name right now
  • It does not check trademarks
  • It does not read the history of the name
  • It does not know what the name earns from parking or traffic

What should you do with a high score?

If a name you hold scores high, list it on the domain marketplace with a buy-now price or open it to offers, and park it with a for-sale page through domain parking. If a name you want scores high, check whether it is expiring in the expired domain names list and place a backorder domain request before it drops.

When do you need more than the estimator?

When you manage more names than you can paste by hand, or when you want the score next to every expiring name instead of checking names one batch at a time. Plans include monthly appraisals: 100 on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, 10,000 on Portfolio, custom on Enterprise, and Portfolio adds bulk appraisal by CSV upload and API access with 50,000 requests per month.

Questions about the domain value estimator

Is the estimated value a price I can sell at?

No. It is an estimate based on the qualities of the name. The price a buyer pays depends on the buyer, and it can land above or below the band.

Why is the estimator limited to 20 names?

The estimator is a one-time check without an account. For more names, plans include monthly appraisals and bulk appraisal by CSV on Portfolio.

Are the names I paste stored?

No. The estimator scores names in your browser and does not send them to us.

Is the estimator the same as a full appraisal?

It uses the same formula and drivers. A full appraisal in your account adds the score to every name in your lists, CSV export on Pro and bulk upload on Portfolio.
